Hi everyone

This afternoon I was just working hard on editing tomorrow's newsletter when an interesting email popped up in my inbox... it was an invitation to create a blog.  What a lovely idea, I thought... much more interesting than the newsletter!  So here I am creating my first ever 'The Office Lady' blog.

The news from the office is that we are going to be bringing in a new programme soon which will help Mrs Cowan and I to run the office.  It is called 'The EDGE' and whilst it won't make much difference to students, we are hoping that it will make running the office (and the whole school) much easier.  Before we can change over to the new programme we have to check that all the information we have on our database is correct. (FYI: A database is the big list of student names and address we have on our computer).  This means I have spent the last two days checking that everything is correct, such as: Does everyone have a postcode?  Do we have your emergency contact details correct? It is very boring work and it means I have to keep stopping every so often for some chocolate to help me concentrate.

So... if anyone has any spare chocolate... just send it to the office and I will make sure it's put to good use!
